Man Killed, Another Wounded In Loop Shooting Early Wednesday — Chicago Health news

DOWNTOWN — A man was killed and another wounded in a shooting early Wednesday in the Loop, police said. Officers responding to a reported shooting found the men with gunshot wounds around 2:40 a.m. Wednesday in the 0-100 block of East Lake Street Downtown, according to police. One man, whose age wasn’t known, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The other man, 38, was shot in the right leg and taken in fair condition to the same hospital, police said. No one has been arrested, and area detectives are investigating. The incident follows another shooting in the Loop Monday night in which two men were shot and wounded at a 7-Eleven store several blocks south, in the 0-100 block of East Adams Street, according to police. In that shooting, the two men, ages 23 and 26, were standing inside the 7-Eleven when someone walked in, started arguing with the 26-year-old man and then fired shots
